ABOUT US
At Key Geophysics, three decades of combined industry experience have given us a deep understanding of the inherent complexities in acquiring high-quality geophysical data. We recognise that while significant resources are invested in data acquisition, the subsequent, critical phase of data processing is often undervalued.
Our core philosophy is rooted in a commitment to data integrity; we specialise in developing innovative, bespoke solutions to unlock the full potential of every dataset. This approach ensures valuable insights for both survey contractors and project stakeholders, fundamentally minimising the need for costly reprocessing by striving for 'right first time' precision, every time.
OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM

JACK BRIGHOUSE
Director & Geophysicist
Jack has over 13 years' experience in the offshore UXO sector, encompassing contractor, consultant, and client roles. His expertise spans data acquisition, processing, target picking, and advisory roles on magnetic datasets. Jack recently developed a UXO anomaly classification method and a published author having in developing methods for optimizing magnetic data application in offshore UXO surveys.

SAM WYLLIE
Director & Geophysicist
Sam has over a decade of experience in land, nearshore, and offshore geophysical survey. Starting in UXO consultancy, his roles over the years have included Online/Offline Geophysicist, Party Chief, and Client Representative. Sam has managed projects from design through acquisition, processing, and reporting, understanding challenges from both client and contractor perspectives to help optimize survey efficiency and data quality.

ANDREW BLAND
Director & Geophysicist
Andy is a geophysicist and former vessel captain, specializing in magnetic data analysis, processing, and quality control for the offshore UXO sector. He adopts a practical, results-driven approach to refine geophysical workflows. Andy develops methods that enhance the efficiency, consistency, and reliability of magnetic data interpretation and reporting.

TOM CHAMBERLAIN-HUGHES
Director & Geophysicist
Tom has over a decade of experience in both land and marine geophysics. His background includes offshore data acquisition, onshore processing, and project management. Tom has developed and implemented numerous magnetic processing flows and led Oasis montaj training courses across the world, on behalf of Seequent. Tom has worked for UXO consultancies and survey companies alike, developing a great understanding of clients’ survey and processing requirements.
