The KEYCHAIN is a cloud-based magnetometer data-processing platform designed to deliver fast, repeatable results with built-in quality control from the moment data is uploaded. By combining automated processing, continuous QC, and live coverage assessment directly from vessel uploads, the Keychain enables earlier decision-making, reduced project risk, and predictable, transparent processing outputs.
The Keychain is built around three core components:
KEYPROC delivers fully automated, remote processing of raw survey data via a simple drag-and-drop workflow. It supports any sensor configuration, including single or dual frames and full gradient setups, with processing tailored to project-specific requirements. Data are filtered, validated, and quality-controlled using bespoke filtering is optimised for each specific survey goal. Final outputs can be tailored to client requirements but as a standard comprise of gridded data tiffs, coverage maps, navigation plots and raw/processed ascii files.
Every processing step is fully recorded and transparent, with no black-box techniques at any stage.
KEYCHECK provides rapid assessment of survey data, from individual survey lines through to full daily datasets, at the discretion of the user. It delivers a comprehensive suite of on-demand statistics and visualisations, including sensor health checks, line plots, survey vessel and frame flying performance, data quality and anomaly replication examples, coverage assessment, and a preliminary estimate of target numbers, all presented in a concise QC report.
Reports are tailored to project specifications and can include an additional manual review, observations and recommendations by an experienced geophysicist within 24 hours of data upload. They provide transparency to all stakeholders throughout the duration of a project, and create a clear audit trail of data quality and acceptance.
KEYPICK Target lists are fully attributed, modelled, and rigorously scrutinised. False positives are significantly reduced through a structured, data-driven assessment process, with optional modelling and assessment using the ALM Classifier and our in-house optimisation algorithm. Every recommendation is fully justified, with clear statistical rationale and transparent professional explanation.
